Join world public speaking champion Andrew Simon for the first session of "A World Champion’s Guide to Public Speaking," focusing on the five steps to creating the perfect opening for any presentation. This workshop is designed for anyone who wants to start their talks with more polish, confidence, and compelling engagement.
Andrew Simon, a seasoned speechwriter and coach with over 30 years of experience, will break down the art and structure of a powerful opening into a clear, practical, and repeatable process. Participants will learn how to identify their talk's purpose, create immediate audience relevance, choose the right opening type, build curiosity, and transition smoothly.
This interactive workshop moves beyond generic advice, offering strategic thinking for your first few moments on stage. You'll explore what a great opening truly accomplishes, avoid common mistakes, and learn how small changes can dramatically improve your audience's experience.
By the end, you will have a clearer understanding of how to begin a speech, presentation, or pitch in a way that feels intentional, compelling, and audience-focused, helping you communicate with greater confidence and impact.
