The 2nd Regional Climate Change Conference (RCCC) 2026 offers a unique platform for sharing scientific knowledge, on-the-ground experiences, and policy developments across various countries and communities. This edition places a special emphasis on early-career professionals and female participants from the Global South.

RCCC aims to foster future research by utilizing state-of-the-art methods in climate modeling, regional and local climate impacts, and risk assessment. The conference is designed to be held biannually, rotating between Sri Lanka and Thailand.

Key paper submission tracks include regional and local climate change adaptation studies, integrated modeling for climate-resilient water systems, policy and governance in adaptation, coastal climate change, remote sensing in impact assessment, and the intersection of climate science with adaptation and financing, particularly for the Global South.
